SD cards have been around for 25 years and are the most common type of memory card used in digital cameras. They all look very similar in appearance, but there are in fact many different types aimed at different types of users with very different capabilities.

I was amused to see that a company is launching a digital camera called the Flashback ONE35 (135, get it?) that mimics the disposable film camera experience by limiting the number of shots to 27 and making you wait 24 hours before you are able to see you pictures!
