A Digital Camera That Gives A Film Experience

I was amused to see that a company is launching a digital camera called the Flashback ONE35 (135, get it?) that mimics the disposable film camera experience by limiting the number of shots to 27 and making you wait 24 hours before you are able to see you pictures! After you’ve used the “film” you can then “reload” it with a choice of film stock (color or black and white) and then you’re good to go for another 27 shots. The camera itself is similar in form to disposable film cameras (in other words, extremely basic) and the project is being funded by a Kickstarter project.

What do you guys think? Is this a great idea or a stupid one? And would it be any good for street photography?
